Q: Which methods of payment do you accept?
A: Because your privacy, security, and
personal information is held with the strictest standards, our preferred method
of payment is
Pay Pal. You Do Not
need a Pay Pal account to make purchases on this site. Using this method you may choose
to pay by way of major credit card, E-check, or bank account
transfer using our online processing and shopping cart service. By using
Pay Pal, your personal account
information is never compromised, nor seen by us. You may also use our alternate
payment method (mail-in orders) by
clicking here.

Q: Are the letters just basic letters printed out
using special automatic software?
A: Absolutely not...Each of our 4 versions of letters
are hand
customized and the information you provide is of your choosing and is carefully entered
by us
into each letter one at a time on your choice between 2 quality letterheads with
matching color envelopes. We also add new variations of our letters and
letterheads each year to help prevent you from ordering the same letter twice.
Q: What information is needed to customize the
personal letter?
A: Because we respect your privacy all
information is totally optional and you need only give the information you see
fit (with exception of address). Examples include, the child's age, child's city &
state, child's pet name and type (dog, cat, etc.), the name of the child's
friend, good deeds performed by the child during the year, a previous years
Christmas present given to the child from Santa, Sibling first name (s) and
gender (s). Any information in a letter that you want that doesn't apply to the
child (i.e. the child has no siblings) can be skipped. and you can give us
special instructions at checkout what you would like to replace it with.
Q:
What are my personalization
options?
A:
First name, last name, multiple names on a single
letter, city and state name (or city and country if you live outside continental
U.S.), age, sibling names, best friend first name, pet names, 2 good deeds they
have accomplished this year, and 2 or 3 gifts they have been asking for. You
also get a choice between 4 different letters, to be printed on either of our 2
letterheads with matching envelopes. Personalization is explained in better
detail in the previous FAQ.
Q: Do the letters come with a "North Pole" postmark?
A: Our letters
will officially include a NorthPole postmark beginning in 2007 if order is
placed before 12/1/07. Orders placed on or after 12/1/07 will not include an
official NorthPole postmark to the lengthy amount of time it would take
to send the letter to one place, and then to another causing your letter to not
arrive before Christmas. It also assures that there
is less room for errors (mis-directed, lost or just plain late) on your child receiving his or her letter
during the month of December.
Although, we do include a custom stamp on the envelope to make it appear as if
it did come from the North Pole. If you have any questions or concerns regarding
this issue, please do not hesitate to
contact us. Remember, your letters will only have a non North Pole postmark
if ordered on or after 12/1/07.

Q: How long will it take to receive our letter (s)?
A: U.S. mail delivery times can vary anywhere
from 3-7 days within the continental U.S. and 1-3 weeks for non-continental U.S.
and international locations. Letters will be processed and mailed
within 24 hours of receiving payment if ordered on 12/1/07- 12/19/07. We begin mailing letters on December 1st
for any orders placed prior to 12/1, and anything from December 1st and later
will be mailed within 24 hours. If you would rather have your letter delivered
at a later date, indicate the date you would like it mailed in the special
instructions during checkout. Orders inadvertently placed
after December 19th will be refunded as we cannot guarantee delivery by
Christmas. Orders
placed between 12/16 and 12/19 will include 2nd day express delivery at a total
charge of $20.00 per letter.
No orders will be accepted after 12/19/06.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: We will gladly issue you a refund if for
any reason the recipient of the letter is not satisfied. The buyer is
responsible for return postage costs and may return the letter to us, once an
email is sent to us explaining reason for return, and we issue you a RA#.
Please do not return your letter until we have issued you an RA#. We aim for high standards
of customer service, and would like to hear about any problems you may have so that we may
fix them.
Q: Do you charge extra for postage?
A: NO... There are no extra postage costs as long as you
live somewhere in the world. THAT's RIGHT ! Postage on All orders, no
matter where in the world you are, are free! (USA only after 12/1 until 12/15) All pricings listed on our
packages are actual total costs. The price you see is the price you pay. There
are no "hidden fees". Please note...12/16 to 12/19 all
order prices will be adjusted to $20.00 to cover 2nd day express delivery
(Continental U.S. only). Non-continental U.S. and international orders
cannot be accepted after 12/1.

Q: What is your policy regarding SPAM
& Personal info?
A: We have children
ourselves and would never compromise their safety or security. We
are very serious and
hold all personal information with the strictest confidence and we will NEVER sell
nor share your personal information or your child's information with anyone, for any reason.
All personal information is destroyed at the end of the current holiday season. SantaBuddy.com
will Never send you spam email. The only emails you would receive from
SantaBuddy.com would be due to customer service questions regarding your order, payment
confirmations, invoices and order reminders. We take privacy very seriously.
Q: How do the donations to the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation work ?
A: We currently figure
the donation percentage on each and every order, and we remit the proper amount
of proceeds (10% - 20%) to the J.D.R.F. at the end of the holiday season. We are currently
working with the J.D.R.F. to automate and streamline the donations directly to
their account immediately after your payment. We also have plans in early 2008
to post names or abbreviated names & geographical locations (with your
permission) of our donors from the previous holiday season on our website. The
higher your purchase/donation, the higher your name will be on the "Wall Of
Hope".

What is The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)?
A: The JDRF was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with
juvenile diabetes - a disease that strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin
dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating
complications. Since inception, JDRF has provided more than $1 billion to
diabetes research worldwide. More than 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures
directly support research and education about research. JDRF's mission is
constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support
